Senior Strength

Strength training as we age has many benefits, including an increase in bone density and muscle mass. This circuit class in our private Aspire studio will contribute to better balance and coordination, and reduce the risk of falls. Preserve bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.

Social Table Tennis Club

Our Social Table Tennis Club is a relaxed, fun session, suitable for any level of fitness or skill. Table Tennis can be great to keep the brain cells active and to help you move your body and in this session the social element is equally important. Even if you have never picked up a Table Tennis bat in your life, you will get something out of this session. Tea and coffee's available.

Senior Social Badminton

Senior Social Badminton is our new relaxed unsupervised fun session for any level of ability in our Main Hall. Playing badminton can be a great way to boost your mental health and is an excellent all-round exercise for the body. It strengths muscles, enhances reflexes and motor coordination, increases flexibility, improves balance, and helps reduce stress and anxiety. So why not come along, meet new friends, and enjoy a well deserved break over a blether and warm cuppa in our Loch Bar.

Senior Circuits

Fun and friendship are key in all of our senior classes. Build and maintain aerobic fitness while strengthening muscle, bones and connective tissue with circuit based exercises for that all over workout to keep you healthy and active.

Senior ICG - Virtual

The instructor is displayed on the large screen with performance metrics, user interface and beautiful animations to make coaching and following instruction highly motivational and flawless.

Walking Football

Walking Football is a slower paced version of the beautiful game. It will help you maintain an active lifestyle whilst meeting new friends and having fun!

Move It Or Lose It

A fun mix of exercise to music, balance exercises and strength and flexibility moves for older people.

Chairobics

A fun and upbeat way to exercise and have a boogie whilst remaining seated throughout. If you are coming back to exercise or just getting started, Chairobics with our new Instructor Ruth Archer is perfect for you.

Senior Strength & Balance

This class is a progression from the Otago programme. It’s mostly chair based resistance exercises with some walking balance exercises. Would be suitable for anyone looking to improve their strength, balance, and mobility.

OTAGO

The Otago programme is a strength and balance exercise class with educational talks. The programme has many benefits: it aims to reduce falls, keep you active, improve confidence and improve social connections.
